Create: Dice Bags

Hello kittens! I’m about to share with you some more nerdy things that I like. :) I am part of a group that plays Pathfinder Roleplaying game (Pirate adventures FTW!) and we are always using our sets of dice to play. I have acquired many sets and was in need of a bigger bag to hold all of them. I went searching on the internets to find a cute bag, but they all were either too expensive or not exactly what I wanted. So, being a crafty person, I then looked for a tutorial to make myself one. And BAM! Found this awesome YouTube channel that had step-by-step instructions. Huzzah! (Here are some written instructions if you can’t/don’t want to watch a video).

I was going to take photos of each step, but Tiffany does an excellent job at teaching you how to make this bag in easy to follow instructions in her video and blog post. So I figured I would give all the credit to her. :)

I made three bags to begin with a few weeks ago and after showing my nerdy awesome friends, they wanted one too. I made three more (photos down the post), so take a gander. The first three bags are light and fun colors. Oh, I forgot to mention that all the bags are reversible!!

My pretty dice.

I’m happy that the bag rolls up nicely like this, so when I am playing with my friends on a small table I can easily keep all of my dice together without them rolling away.

Travis, T, and Chelsea’s dice bags! They went to Jo-Ann Fabrics to buy some of those quilters square fabrics (anywhere from $0.99-$2.49) and The Yard for the paracord.

All the bags!

What do you think? Do you play games that need dice bags? If you do, make this one and share a photo with me (Facebook or Instagram). I’d love to see what fabric you use and how it all came together.

Peace + love, Jaclyn
