Galentine's Day Tea Party

Hello there kittens! How was your weekend? Did you spend it with someone you love? With friends? Stay in, snuggle up and watch your favorite movie? That’s what I wanted to do, but it’s okay because I got to spend it with my girls! I threw them a Galentine’s Day Tea Party (on Valentine’s Day) and it was a hit. I decorated with all things girly: lace, pink, cream, tea cups with gold rims, glittery hearts everywhere, fresh flowers. Ahh, it was so fun just to decorate. Then to have all the ladies come dressed up like it’s spring time and enjoy a cup of tea with some sweets was the icing on top!

I am also happy to cross of another goal off my 26 by 27 list: to have a tea party. And boy did we! I’ll let you be with the photos now. There’s a lot of them and lot’s of pink, so you’ve been warned. hehe.

I made my coffee table into another table for myself and Kristyn to sit at. I guess I’ll always be at the “kids table”

Fresh flowers all around made the apartment look so nice! I wish I could have flowers all the time, but Posy just loves to eat them.

The table set up. Lace, flowers, and cute gold hearts for each plate. I also used my calligraphy skills to write each gals name in gold ink.

The food table looking quite adorable. Each lady brought something to share with all of us. Be it brownies, parfaits, or adorable rice krispie treats in shapes of a heart.

Love these heart shaped fruit ka-bobs. And they were tasty too!

Can’t have a tea party without tea! I used my tea cart and Harney & Sons tea tins full of sachets. Mmm, they were quite delicious. (Update: made a blog post about the teas)

Chelsea made some delicious parfaits (that were vegan too!).

A Galentine’s Party isn’t complete without a gift and card to all my ladies! Using quotes from my favorite show, Parks & Rec, I substituted Ann Perkin’s name for each of the gals.

They also were gifted small tea tins with a Valentine’s Day blend of tea (chocolate and rose buds). Mmm!

Love Letter was perfect to play on such a Holiday. :)

After everyone left, I wanted to take more photos of these pretty flowers. Like I said before, we don’t usually have flowers in the apartment, so it was fun having them that day.
