Hello kitty cats! I’m back with some festive holiday decor. We put our tree up a few days after Thanksgiving, but then LeeLoo attacked it. Meaning, she knocked it over (twice), broke a handful of ornaments, and hid one of my favorite ornaments under our bed. Bad kitty. So, our tree now has little to none ornaments hanging and she’s doing much better at not knocking the tree over. Yay!
Last year, my sister and I with our mom, went thru our childhood holiday ornaments and decor and divied them up between us and some for our brothers. I got the wooden beads, the crocheted snowflakes, some of our dads wooden ornaments he would make each year, and my favorite….santa’s workshop pictured below.
My parents each year would go to an ornament party where everyone makes x-amount of the same ornament and then once at the party, they would exchange it. So, each year we would get new handmade ornaments/decoration to place around the house. On of our favorite makers was a lady named Georgia. She would make the most intricate pieces and Santa’s Workshop is my all time favorite of hers.

So flippin’ cool right!?!
Since moving my office to the front room of the house, I have been eagerly awaiting this time of year to decorate the mantle for the holidays. I gathered anything gold, red, and festive that I had and got to decorating.
Two cute deer that I got after Christmas last year on sale. :) Oh, and I made that Happy Holiday watercolor print in the frame just last week. This time of year always gets me in a creative mood.
My mom had this amazing Charles Dickens book and gave it to me. Thanks mom!
Gotta have my holiday bunting out for the house.
And a cute LeeLoo who’s not attacking the tree anymore. Thanks little one.
How is your holiday decor coming along? Got any plans for the holidays? I’m visiting my sister for Christmas and very excited to see her new house with all the decorations. I’ll most likely be taking photos of it and sharing it on instagram, so follow me over there and you’ll see it if you love decorations!
